Welcome! This guide walks you through everything you need to launch your very first Minecraft server — from ordering your plan in the client area to logging into the Game Panel and going live. No technical background required. Just follow each step below and you’ll be playing with friends in no time.
Step 1: Log In to Your Client Area & Order Your Server Plan — Start by logging into your WHMCS client area using the credentials you created at signup. Once inside, browse to the Minecraft hosting products, select the plan that fits your needs (RAM, player slots, etc.), and complete your purchase. Your server will be automatically provisioned through our integration with the Game Panel — no manual setup on our end required.
Step 2: Deploy Your Server — After your order is confirmed, head to your active services in the client area. Find your new Minecraft server product and click the ‘Deploy’ or ‘Create Server’ button. Our system will automatically configure and spin up your server instance on the Game Panel in the background. This usually takes just a few seconds to a couple of minutes.
Step 3: Access the Game Panel — Once your server has been deployed, look for the ‘Game Panel’ button at the top of this page. Click it to be taken directly to your Pterodactyl-powered control panel — this is where you will manage everything about your Minecraft server, from starting and stopping it to uploading files and managing players.
Step 4: Find Your Server in the Game Panel — After logging in to the Game Panel, you will see your Minecraft server listed on the dashboard. Click on it to open the server console and management interface. Here you can monitor real-time resource usage, view logs, and take full control of your server environment.
Step 5: Start Your Server & Accept the EULA — Inside the Game Panel, navigate to the console tab and click the ‘Start’ button. On the very first launch, Minecraft requires you to accept its End User License Agreement (EULA). You can do this directly from the Game Panel by editing the ‘eula.txt’ file and setting ‘eula=true’, then start the server again. Your server will now fully initialize.
Step 6: Customize Your Server Settings — With your server running, use the Game Panel to personalize your experience. Edit the ‘server.properties’ file to set your game mode (Survival, Creative, etc.), difficulty level, max player slots, and world name. You can also install plugins or mods directly through the file manager for an enhanced gameplay experience.
Step 7: Invite Your Friends & Start Playing! — Share your server’s IP address and port (found in the Game Panel under your server details) with your friends. They simply add it as a new server inside Minecraft under Multiplayer → Add Server, enter the IP, and connect. Congratulations — your Minecraft server is live! If you ever need help, our support team is just a ticket away.
